    Dear Ni Gideon TICHA M.,

    Subject: APPEAL FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Accept warm greetings from the Zang-Tabi Youths and Students in Yaounde. We hope that you and the entire family are doing well.

We are happy to let you know that ZATSU Football Club and ZATSU Handball Girls have both qualified for the semi finals of the on-going 7th Edition of the Meta Unity Cup Competition here in Yaounde. We have as well qualified for the finals of the traditional dance (Echibi/Kwem).

We managed to use the lone pair of football Jessies which was bought for us by Ni Bob Toche in 2004 for the football and handball girls respectively. Right now, it is difficult for us to share this lone pair of Jessies for the both teams that have qualified for the semi finals because the matches have been scheduled to take place simultaneously. We are therefore appealing for your generous financial assistance of 200.000frs CFA to enable us purchase another pair of Jessies for the handball girls, a football and handball for the semi finals and finals respectively.

We are confident that both teams shall win both trophies come July 8, 2006. It should be noted that ZATSU has never won one of these prestigious trophies since creation 7 years ago.

As we look forward to receiving a favourable reply from you soon, accept our regards and extend to the family.

    Sincerely,

In fact it is only through collective and well coordinated apporaches that we can succeeed. It is nice to hear that you brought in a friend to study our situation and provide some assistance. I am strongly behind you in your effforts.
Keep in touch with us when need arises.

  3. Dear brother Joel,
Indeed I missed to see you guys and this is a thing I would have love . Make no mistake, I love our people and our beloved village to include its neighbors. That's said, I met with a few people and it was a great time. Yes, we studied carefully the situation and frankly, it is grave.
The situation , no clean drinking water, no clinic, no road, no food, no electricity is that simply stated, the situation as we observed in Zang-Tabi. As we navigate thru, it was all the same, WE CRIED IN CHURCH, but we saw the unique and good side of this fact finding mission is that we saw the people in these villages with a attitude that is very positive. We saw an aging population determined to live by faith. The greatest challenge to us and just listening and hearing from sources, I decided to conduct a fact finding mission which indeed has made
    following recommendations into serious consideration.
    1. The situation is Zang-Tabi village require urgent assistance as follows.
i clean drinking water is a must , be it tap water, well, etc and we must act now
immediate to all in the area, and neighboring villages
ii Clinic, will be located at a small building at the Zang-Tabi School area, we will renovate the abandon building at minimum, starting with the supply of few asprin, Tylenold etc in the near future as soon as his HRH JA Tabi clear that the boxes will get thru Douala Air port as boxed from the US
iii Road infrastructure is a must.
    iv .Etrcitity is a must.

    2. This is a community project and will be chaired by the HRH JA Tabi . ie needs all our support. Get everyone involved now, students youths, churches, civil servants, business community, foreign friends, NGO, Gov't etc....

    3. TIME FRAME TO COMPLETE AT MINUMUM THE ABOVE IDENTIFIED PROJECTS IS 2012.

    4. A team of Engineer
will be approving the project from the US on the January 29, 2007

    5. Another team of experts from the US will be visiting HRH JA Tabi by February 2007 .

Now what does this mean to us? answer is that simple,Zang-tabi elites everywhere are therefore encouraged talk, make
everysuggestions, contribution, ideas, organize meetings at all levels, communicate,
communication is the key, talk amongst our selves and if possible convene and urgent Came-together in Zang-Tabi
in the very near future to prepare to support your community development. We must reverse the situation back at home and so extend the same thru-out the neighboring villages and Metta as a whole.
Time has come when we have to step into assist our villages and go back to basics, provide all water, electricity, road, clinic , food etc
God has commanded us to do,helping people in need. What a New year!
    God bless,
    Sincerely
    Giddy.
