The Role of Meta calling drum:
The calling drum plays a vital role in communication in our traditional African Society as in the case of our Meta culture. It serves as a community bell, church bell, etc... We believe it also symbolises a way of life of our people living back in the villages, calling for unity, peace, love, responsibility, courage, respect, compassion, hard work, Truth, taking action like Isaiah etc....
We believe it can also help us make a committment in authenticating our culture and values. After Uzziah, the question we are confronted with is what would happen when what we count on ends?
